Motives of Greek Cypriots

1.  Get the Turkish military to completely leave Cyprus
2.  Re-establish the integrity and sovereignty of the Republic
3.  Be reunited with the Turkish Cypriots
4.  Put an end to the mass immigration into Northern Cyprus of Turkish settlers, who are culturally and linguistically distinct from Turkish Cypriots

5. Return to their properties in the north that they lost in 1974, or to at least be compensated for them

6. Attract foreign investment by resolving the political irregularity on the island

1. Become members of the European Union.
2. Escape economic isolation.
3. Own their own property permanently
4. Overcome the risk of another war.
5. Have security without the Turkish military
6. Be reunited with the Greek Cypriots.
7. Return to their properties in the south that they lost in 1974, or to at least be compensated for them
