Currently under construction, this page will discuss the research on building a shared social identity within a heterogeneous groupamong others that becomes more valued by each group member than any other social identity. Key terms discussed are a common in-group identity and a superordinate identity. This page will also discuss the link between cooperative efforts and building such identities.
